What separates you from other A/C companies?

We offer the infrastructure of a large company with the entrepreneurial and family spirit of a smaller one. We don’t have the “beast” of 50+ trucks on the road to feed, yet we offer the benefits of larger companies with our trained technicians, dedicated office staff, updated vehicle fleet, modernized use of iPads in the field, after hours emergency support, and discounted product pricing due to our volume levels.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes we are. In house, we have the required state mechanical license #CAC1813721. You may see other companies that pay a qualifier to basically rent their mechanical license. And, of course, we are fully insured with General Liability, Workers Comp, and Commercial Auto. And, we are also NATE certified.

We have been in business for over 20 years with an unblemished record with the Better Business Bureau. Our company culture is to treat all residences and commercial properties like they are our own. Our business has grown over the years by taking good care of our customers as well as our employees.

Do you offer price matching?

We price our products and services very fairly as compared to what you will see in the marketplace. Buyer beware with certain coupon clipping strategies and the cliché “you get what you pay for” is real. You will find our prices fair and reasonable, while our quality workmanship and the customer experience that we provide is unmatched.

When should I consider replacing my A/C System?

Based on recommendations from the EPA, if your Air Conditioner is more than 10 years old you should consider a replacement. New units can save you up to 20% on your energy costs and costly repairs. Newer systems also have more features to increase comfort and health of your home for you and your family.

How much does it cost to get an estimate for a new A/C system?

We offer free estimates for all new A/C system change outs. To properly assess your needs, we need to do a physical walk through, so please contact us to schedule a visit.

How do your warranties work?

New A/C systems come with a 10-year parts warranty from the manufacturer and a 1-year warranty from us on labor and 3 rd party materials. We register your new system for you to make sure you are protected with the warranty coverage. And we offer extended warranties for additional coverage and peace of mind.

Do you repair all types of A/C Systems?

Yes, we service all major brands of A/C systems from all leading manufacturers

Custom Air Filters in Pompano Beach, FL | Quality First Air Conditioning

Enhance Your Home Comfort with Custom Air Filters in Pompano Beach, FL

Maintaining a healthy and comfortable home in Pompano Beach, FL, requires more than just a functioning air conditioning unit. Because of our unique coastal climate, humidity levels and airborne allergens like pollen and salt spray are constant challenges for homeowners. At Quality First Air Conditioning, we specialize in providing high-quality custom air filters designed to fit your specific HVAC system perfectly, ensuring that your indoor air remains clean and your system runs efficiently.

Standard, off-the-shelf filters often leave gaps that allow dust, pet dander, and allergens to bypass the filtration system. This not only lowers your indoor air quality (IAQ) but also forces your AC unit to work harder, leading to higher energy bills and potential breakdowns. Our custom AC filters in Pompano Beach are tailored to the exact dimensions of your intake, providing a superior seal and maximum filtration surface area.

Why Choose Custom AC Filters for Your Pompano Beach Home?

Many homes in the South Florida area feature unique architectural designs or older HVAC installations that utilize non-standard filter sizes. Using a filter that is even a fraction of an inch too small can significantly impact your home’s air purity. When you choose Quality First Air Conditioning for your custom air filters, you benefit from:

Precision Fit: No more “close enough” sizes. We provide filters that fit snugly, preventing unfiltered air from circulating through your home.
Improved IAQ: Our high-MERV rated filters capture smaller particles, including mold spores and fine dust, which is essential for those looking to improve indoor air quality in Pompano Beach, FL.
Extended System Life: By keeping dust off your evaporator coils and blower motor, custom filters reduce wear and tear on your expensive HVAC equipment.
Energy Savings: A clean, properly fitted filter allows for optimal airflow, meaning your system doesn’t have to struggle to cool your home.

The Importance of Regular AC Filter Replacement

In Pompano Beach, your air conditioner likely runs for the majority of the year. This constant operation means filters clog faster than they might in cooler climates. We recommend professional AC filter replacement as part of your regular maintenance routine. Neglecting your filters can lead to “dirty coil” syndrome, where debris accumulates on the cooling coils, reducing heat transfer and potentially causing the system to freeze up.

If you are noticing an increase in dust on your furniture or if your family is experiencing more frequent allergy symptoms, it may be time to upgrade your filtration. Our team can assess your current setup and recommend the best IAQ filters for your specific needs, whether you have pets, smokers in the home, or severe respiratory sensitivities.

Comprehensive Air Quality Solutions

While custom filters are the first line of defense, Quality First Air Conditioning offers a full suite of services to ensure your home is a sanctuary of clean air. For homeowners seeking the ultimate in protection, we often recommend combining custom filtration with air and coil purification systems. These advanced systems use UV light or ionization technology to kill bacteria and viruses on contact, providing a level of cleanliness that filters alone cannot achieve.

Our technicians are experts in the local Pompano Beach environment. We understand how the salt air can affect your external units and how the high humidity can foster mold growth inside ductwork. By integrating custom filters with our professional air conditioning services in Pompano Beach, you are investing in the longevity of your home and the health of your family.

Frequently Asked Questions About Custom Air Filters

How often should I change my custom filter? In the Pompano Beach area, we generally recommend checking your filter every 30 days and replacing it at least every 90 days, though homes with pets may require more frequent changes.

Can I install a custom filter myself? Yes, once we have determined the correct size and MERV rating for your system, you can easily slide the custom filter into your existing intake. However, we are always happy to handle the replacement during your scheduled maintenance visits.

What is a MERV rating? MERV stands for Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value. It measures how effectively a filter traps particles. We can help you choose the right MERV rating that balances high filtration with the airflow requirements of your specific AC unit.
